For the winner of the Victoria Pro-Am tournament Pro-Am is a day-long tournament where experienced Vic debaters team up with novices. It has been held annually in the first trimester since 2001. Since 2008 there has also been a British Parliamentary style Pro-Am held in the second trimester. The winner of each tournament is deemed to be the best novice of the competition and has their name engraved on the trophy.
